Stereospecificity of Selective Proton Relaxation Times in Rigid Organic Molecules
Spin dynamics in a coupled four spin system of the AA’BB’ type are described. Experimental temperature dependence of the longitudinal relaxation time of axial and equatorial methylene protons (HA and HB) have been studied in 2,2-dimethyl-propanediol-1,3-sulfite. It is shown that spin--rotation interaction contributes to the relaxation of these methylene protons.
