ESR Study of Organic Semiconductors Based on Salts of Tetracyanoquinodimethane

Abstract

ESR (77–390°K and 4°K) and X-ray (290°K) studies have been carried out on complex ion-radical (n-N-butylQn)+(TCNQ) 2 salt synthesized by the authors; specific bulk resistance and its temperature dependence have been measured. On the basis of the data obtained the ESR spectra have been interpreted, and the inter-anion-radical distances calculated. The results obtained have been summarized together with the existing data.
