New Method of the Determination of the Magnons Relaxation Rate

The life time of magnons τ and the relaxation rate.Δυ=1/2πτ were determined by the observation of transition processes which occured in the system of parametrically excited magnons after a rapid change of the pumping frequency. The Δυ value determined by this method is 7 times greater than that from threshold measurements.
