A New Paramagnetic Centre in Scapolite

Two strong EPR signals were found in a scapolite characterized by a strong fluorescence. The paramagnetic centre was found to substitute for Cl ions in the crystal lattice and is interpreted to be a S ion. The two different signals are related to different cation surroundings.
