Abstract
The results of the Jahn-Teller effect investigation of an icosahedral orbital triplet linearly coupled to quintet vibrations, obtained earlier, are emploed to reveal the angular and temperature dependence of the EPR spectra for appropiate paramagnetic centers in T2 states. In the calculations performed the influence of a small crystaline trigonal field which splits the triplet state into a doublet (ground) and singlet (exited), is included. The effect of random strain, as we1l as relaxations, are also taken into account.
