ENDOR of Yb3+ in Perovskite Type Crystals

Abstract

The values and signs of the hyperfine and superhyperfine interactions (HFI and SHFI) parameters of Yb3+ in KMgF3 and KZnF3 are determined. The local distortion of a crystalline lattice in the vicinity of a paramagnetic admixture is estimated. The position and intensity of the superhyperfine structure (shfs) of EPR lines are calculated.
