The Reaction Yield Detected Magnetic Resonance of Intermediate Complexes

Abstract

A method of reaction yield detected magnetic resonance is used to study short-lived (10−9s) intermediates in photoreactions in organic crystals. The method is based on a new phenomenon consisting in a change of the rate of reactions involving pairs of paramagnetic particles under the effect of a resonant microwave magnetic field.
