Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate whether adjuvant therapy with the immune modulator levamisole could reduce the recurrence rate and possibly increase the survival rate in patients with squamous cancer of the head and neck. A secondary goal was to evaluate whether this type of immunotherapy could affect the known immunosuppression of these patients.
