Abstract
For the design of amplifier circuits, in which the upper cutoff frequency must be higher than 100 kHz, certain special aspects must be considered. These are discussed below. There are two main effects which influence the value of the upper cutoff frequency:
-
(1)
the frequency dependence of the current gain which is given by the internal structure of the transistor;
-
(2)
stray capacitances which, together with the external resistances, form lowpass filters.
