Abstract

Immunotherapy most often works by helping the organism to kill the last cell of residual disease, which still remains after other forms of treatment; alternatively, if the preliminary data on the use of immunotherapy in the treatment of perceptible tumours is confirmed, the aim is to assist the treatment in the destruction of more cells.
