Abstract

This portion of the symposium deals with the treatment of cerebral gliomas by the nonsurgical approach to therapy. Dr. BUCY has pointed out that surgical removal of the more malignant gliomas is not feasible. Total extirpation of the tumor leaves the patient with an unacceptable outcome in most treatment situations.
