Zusammenfassung

Die klinische Pharmakologie hat sich in den letzten 10 Jahren zu einer eigenen medizinischen Fachdisziplin entwickelt. Ihr Spezialgebiet, die Pharmakokinetik, machte es sich zur Aufgabe, die Verteilung eines Medikamentes im Körper, die auftretenden Substanzkonzentrationen in den verschiedenen Körperflüssigkeiten, in Abhängigkeit von Zeit und Dosis aufzuzeigen (Schema 1). Besondere Bedin-gungen sind beim Neugeborenen, Kleinkind und Kind zu erwarten [14].
