Zusammenfassung
Dosierung im neurologisch-psychiatrischen Bereich je nach Akuität und Schweregrad. Anfangs immer hohe Dosen (am besten intravenös):

1.
Tag 100–200 mg (bezogen auf Prednison),

2.
Tag 75–125 mg jeweils in 2–3 Einzeldosen.

3.
Tag 50–75 mg
-
Ab 4.
Tag tunlichst Übergang auf perorale Erhaltungsdosis, täglich ca. 15 mg.
Mindestbehandlungsdauer 8 bis 10 Tage, Gesamtbehandlungsdauer 2 bis 3 Wochen, in Ausnahmefällen darüber (z. B. MS). Bei Behandlungsende langsam ausschleichen.
