Comparison of Effects of 6-Dehydro-16-methylene-hydrocortisone (StC 407*) and Dexamethasone on the Hypothalamo-Pituitary-Adrenal-System in Rats

Summary

Both Stc 407 and dexamethasone suppressed CRF activity in hypothalamus as well as CRF-induced ACTH release in pituitary directly. In suppressive action by Stc 407 and dexamethasone on the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal-axis there were only quantitative differences.
