Summary
Progesterone vas measured by the method of NEILL, 17α-hydroxy-progesterone by the method of STROTT and LIPSETT. The recovery for P vas 83%, for labelled 17α-OHP 30%, for unlabelled 70. The sensitivity for P vas 0.3 ng/ml plasma, for 17α-OHP 0.2 ng/ml plasma. Both methods vere used for estimation of P and 17α-OHP in plasma of patients treated with HMG-HCG. The results shoved either a preovulatory peak of 17α-OHP or a preovulatory peak of P.
