“In vivo” Conversion of Corticosterone to Aldosterone in Rats with Adrenal Hypertrophy of Different Origin

Summary

It was possible to demonstrate the “in vivo” conversion of radioactive corticosterone in aldosterone in rats. ACTH treatment diminished this conversion whilst repeated injection of formaldehyde remained without any effect.
