Zusammenfassung

Tumours of the kidney, including the renal paranchyma and the renal pelvis, constitute 1–2% of all malignant tumours in the adult, and approximately 20% of those in children. Badenoch (1955) found 45 cases among 4700 cases of malignant disease, rather less than 1%, at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, during the period 1947–1951.
