Zusammenfassung

Meerrettichperoxidase (horseradish peroxidase, HRP) wird wegen ihrer Stabilität und einfachen Nachweisbarkeit bevorzugt als Markierungsenzym verwendet. Gekoppelt an Lektine oder Immunglobuline wird Peroxidase als Marker bei histochemischen Färbungen an Semidünnschnitten häufig verwendet. Die inzwischen schon klassisch gewordene Methode von Graham und Karnovsky [1] verwendet dabei Diaminobenzidin (DAB) als Substrat.
