Summary
Thirtyeight patients with herpes corneal ulceration were treated on a randomized double-blind basis with Acyclovir or Vidarabine ointment respectively. The results of this study indicate that Acyclovir is at least as good as Ara-A, and is effective in the treatment of IDU and Ara-A resistant ulcers.
