Abstract
Lens capsular changes in the “ocular copper syndrome” are well known from general diseases (Wilson’s disease, multiple myoloma) and from intraocular foreign bodies. The main feature of these changes are roundish inclusion bodies with size normally ranging from 0,01 to 0,1 μ or even larger. The inclusion bodies are electron opaque and have been demonstrated to contain copper. The great volume of modern research has, however, been done on the basement membranes of eyes in Wilson’s disease.
