Zusammenfassung

Der Anreiz, sich mit der Frage der operativen Therapie der degenerativen Retinoschisis auseinanderzusetzen, liegt darin, daß, seit die Möglichkeit der Lichtchirurgie besteht, auf diesem Sektor der Behandlung von Netzhautprozessen keine einhellige Meinung erzielt werden konnte. Meyer-Schwickerath (1959), Pischel (1965, 1971), Colyear (1967), vertraten die These, daß die Lichtchirurgie das Fortschreiten einer Retinoschisis mit großer Sicherheit verhindere und daß dieses Operationsverfahren nur eine geringe Komplikationsrate besitze.
