Abstract
The fundus periphery encompasses the peripheral retina, the posterior portion of the ciliary body, and related structures. Clinical interpretation of abnormalities affecting this portion of the eye in general and the peripheral retina in particular requires accurate knowledge of topography, common developmental variations, significant degenerations, and the manifestations of specific diseases.
