Zusammenfassung
Unter Pupillenlichtreflex verstehen wir zweierlei Verhaltensformen der Pupille. Das 1. ist der sogenannte tonische Pupillenlichtreflex, d. h. die Einstellung der Pupillengröße bei Dauerbelichtung, und das 2. ist der sogenannte phasische Pupillenlichtreflex, d. h. die Pupillenverengerung nach kurzdauernder Einzelbelichtung. Beide Reflexe werden von dem bekannten, selbsttätigen und geschlossenen Reglerkreis geleistet, wobei die Netzhaut der Fühler ist, die pupillomotorischen Zentren der Stellmotor und die Irismuskulatur das Stellglied (Drischel, 1957). Obwohl beide Reflexe dem gleichen Reglerkreis angehören, scheinen die verantwortlichen retinalen Vorgänge in beiden Fällen unterschiedlich zu sein.
