Zusammenfassung

Die aktive Prophylaxe der Amotio retinae hat sich in der Augenheilkunde einen festen Platz erobert, die Ansichten über die Indikationen gehen aber noch weit auseinander. Auch als Ergebnis dieses Symposions ist die Anerkennung allgemein verbindlicher Regeln nicht zu erwarten.
