Zusammenfassung
Die Lichtcoagulation war in der Prophylaxe der Amotio das erste Verfahren, bei welchem die Belastung für den Patienten, der operative Aufwand, das Risiko und der Behandlungseffekt in angemessener Weise verteilt waren. Erst durch diese Methode erlangte die Prophylaxe der Amotio neben der Ablösungstherapie zahlenmäßig eine Bedeutung.
