Zusammenfassung
Die häufigste Ursache einer Hyperkalzämie ist ein Tumorleiden (60–70%). Abhängig vom Tumortyp können 3–35% der Patienten im Laufe ihrer Erkrankung eine Hyperkalzämie entwickeln, die je nach Ausprägung mit einer Reihe klinisch relevanter Symptome einhergeht (Tabelle 9–1). Am häufigsten tritt eine Hyperkalzämie bei Mamma- und Bronchialkarzinomen sowie bei Plasmozytomen auf. Man schätzt die jährliche Inzidenz auf etwa 150 pro 100.000 Einwohner.
