Zusammenfassung

Um die oftmals beschränkten Ressourcen der kardialen Diagnostik optimal zu nützen, müssen die Strategien der Zuweisung zu invasiven (Koronarangiographie) und nichtinvasiven kardiologischen Untersuchungen (Echokardiographie und Szintigraphie) verbessert werden. Bei den notwendigen Voruntersuchungen der Patienten können sensitive und spezifische Labortests zur Diagnose von akuten und chronischen Herzerkrankungen eine wichtige Rolle erlangen.
