Abstract
This chapter presents a set of architectural issues of the Orchestra environment. As mentioned several times in the previous chapters, the results of the Orchestra project will not necessarily lead to a unique system with a fixed packaging choice. On the contrary, it is expected (and this is reflected in the partners’ exploitation plans) that several configurations of the Orchestra modules be designed, refined and (probably) reengineered, to address specific needs and commercial goals.
