Conference paper

A perfume is a composition of odorous ingredients generally diluted with ethyl alcohol and experienced over a certain time frame. To bear an artistic and aesthetic value its constituents must be selected and quantified deliberately to form a specific olfactory shape which should be recognizable, interesting and harmonious. The aim of a perfume is to improve the quality of life by underlining the personality, attractiveness and well-being of its bearers.
