Gastroösophageale Refluxdiagnostik im Kindesalter: Ergänzt die intraösophageale Impedanzmessung die pH-Metrie?

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Diagnostik von möglicherweise durch einen gastroösophagealen Reflux (GÖR) hervorgerufenen Symptomen und klinischen Befunden im Kindesalter ist die 24 h pH-Metrie die weitgehend etablierte und akzeptierte Methode der Wahl, der sog. Goldstandard. Zu den besagten Ereignissen gehören lebensbedrohliche Situationen wie Apnoen, ALTE, kritische Sauerstoffsättigungsabfälle, jedoch auch rezidivierende Mikroaspirationen und Bronchitiden, Schlafstörungen und Unruhezustände bei Neugeborenen, Säuglingen und Kleinkindern.
