Hot-Electron Dynamics at Cu Surfaces

Hot-electron lifetimes measured at Cu(100), Cu(110), Cu(111) surfaces by time-resolved two-photon photoemission with <10fs resolution are compared with standard Fermi liquid theory and with the calculation based on Cu band structure.
