Coherent THz Plasmons in GaAs Schottky Diodes

The transient reflectivity of photoexcited GaAs shows quasi-oscillatory behaviour with THz frequencies. Interpretation as coherent plasma oscillations is confirmed by Ensemble Monte-Carlo simulations.
