Zusammenfassung

Der Mangel an geeigneten Spenderorganen für Kleinkinder mit terminalen Lebererkrankungen hat zum Konzept der Leberteiltransplantation geführt [1, 2]. Die Rekonstruktion der Portalvene ist ein entscheidender Schritt für eine erfolgreiche Lebertransplantation. Bei pädiatrischen Teillebertransplantationen ist die standardmäßige End-zu-End Rekonstruktion der Portalvene häufig wegen des Gefäßkaliberunterschiedes zwischen der Erwachsenenteilleber und der Portalvene des Empfängers, sowie durch die krankheitsbedingte schlechte Qualität der Portalvene beim Empfänger nicht möglich [3]. Bei Lebendspenden kommt erschwerend hinzu, daß das Material für Veneninterponate beschränkt ist.
