Zusammenfassung
Lebertransplantation ist eine etablierte Therapie für Lebererkrankungen im End stadium. Der Organspendermangel bleibt ein wesentliches Problem. Seit geraumer Zeit ist deshalb Hepatozytentransplantation als Alternativtherapie bei der Überbrückung vor einer Lebertransplantation, aber auch als definitive Therapie bei bestimmten Enzymdefekten Gegenstand der Forschung. Wir konnten bisher zeigen, daß Hepatozyten erfolreich unter Einsatz prävaskularisierter dreidimensionaler Matrizes und hepatotropher Stimulation mittels portocavalen Shunt transplantiert werden können [1, 2, 3]. In dieser Studie untersuchten wir Hepatozytentransplantation (HTX) unter Einsatz von biologisch abbaubaren Polyglykansäurematrizes (PGA) in einem Rattenmodel mit einem Leberenzymdefekt für L-Ascorbinsäuresynthese.
