Part of the book series: International Association of Geodesy Symposia ((IAG SYMPOSIA,volume 115))

Abstract

The GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ) has established large scale geodynamic GPS-networks in Central Asia and southern South America. The network analysis was performed with the GFZ software EPOS. For the processing of the regional network data IGS products and IGS station data were used. Different analysis strategies have been applied. The high quality of the IGS products and the importance of the global distributed IGS station data for the regional network analysis was pointed out. The repeatability of the network geometry is 1–2 mm horizontal and 5–6 mm for the height.
