Zusammenfassung

Unter „interventioneller Radiologie“ (IR) wird zunehmend die Möglichkeit der Therapie mit Hilfe bildgebender Systeme, vor allem unter Gebrauch von Röntgenstrahlen und Kernspintomographie, verstanden. Dieser neueste Zweig der Radiologie ist eine Weiterentwicklung der invasiven Diagnoseverfahren, insbesondere der Möglichkeiten der selektiven arteriellen und venösen Katheterisation [72].
