Part of the book series: ESO Monographs ((ESO MONOGRAPHS))

Abstract

This chapter describes the initial clinical experiences with Breast Biophysical Examination (BBE) in two European countries: Germany and Italy. The primary aim of these feasibility studies was the transfer of this technology to novel environments. As with any new technology, care must be taken when transferring it to new environments. In many cases, the technology must be adapted to the local situation in order to realize its full potential.
