Zusammenfassung

Die Rolle bildgebender Verfahren bei der initialen Abklärung eines klinisch vermuteten Nierentumors ist vielfältig [8]:

  • Bestätigung und Charakterisierung der renalen Raumforderung,

  • Beurteilung der kontralateralen Niere,

  • Beurteilung der V. renalis und der unteren Hohlvene bezüglich Tumorinvasion,

  • Nachweis regionärer Lymphknotenmetastasen,

  • Lungen- und Leberparenchymabklärung hinsichtlich Metastasen,

  • Skelettmetastasen-Ausschluß bei ausgewählten Tumoren.
