Zur Diagnose und Differentialdiagnose von Rhythmusstörungen ist das EKG am besten geeignet. Röntgenologische und bildgebende Verfahren haben hier nur bei ganz bestimmten Problemen einen Aussagewert. Eine für die Praxis verwendbare Einteilung der bei Kindern vorkommenden Herzrhythmusstörungen zeigt die Tabelle 1.
