Zusammenfassung
Die angeborenen Angiokardiopathien sind mit 0,8–1,0% aller Lebendgeborenen die häufigsten Fehlbildungen überhaupt. Die Häufigkeitsverteilung der einzelnen angeborenen Herz- und Gefäßfehler, mit denen der Kinderarzt und Kinderradiologe vornehmlich konfrontiert wird, zeigt die Tabelle 1. Demnach steht an erster Stelle der Ventrikelseptumdefekt. Ventrikelseptumdefekte, Vorhofseptumdefekte, Ductus arteriosus persistens, Pulmonalstenosen, Aortenisthmusstenose, Aortenstenosen, Fallotsche Tetralogie und Transposition der großen Arterien ergeben zusammengefaßt 80% aller vorkommenden Herz- und Gefäßfehlbildungen.
