Zusammenfassung

Der Erfolg einer operativen Ausräumung der Membrana synovialis des von rheumatoider Arthritis (RA) betroffenen Kniegelenks ist gut dokumentiert [10, 19]. Die operative Synovektomie kommt in Frage, falls eine RA des Kniegelenks trotz 6monatiger medikamentöser Therapie nicht beherrscht werden kann [14]. Allerdings dürfen die Erfolgserwartungen nicht zu hoch angesetzt sein [1, 2]. So konnten bei der juvenilen RA günstige Effekte der Frühsynovektomie nur in bezug auf eine Reduzierung der Gelenkschwellung gezeigt werden [11].
