Abstract

School prepares for: information, communication, sciences and arts, life situations. Technology is one of the subjects preparing for life. Technology is not only creating and making but is also a way of learning how to economize with material, money, time, information and so on. Living in a society is living in a family and working in a place under the rules of economy.

Knowing the main rules of economy is a way to success in all fields. The main relations should be taught even in the elementary schools. The first steps in this direction are starting now in Hungary.
