Zusammenfassung

Seit die ersten laparoskopischen Cholezystektomien Ende der 80er Jahre erfolgreich klinisch durchgeführt wurden, ist eine Vielzahl neuer Instrumente entwickelt worden, doch die derzeitigen Instrumente unterscheiden sich wenig von den Originalgeräten, die von Jakobeus [1], Wittmoser und Pfau [2], Semm [3] und unseren Teams [4, 5] entwickelt wurden. Obwohl Trokare, Trokarhülsen, Nadelhalter, Scheren, Zangen, Klipps und Klammernahtgeräte ständig verbessert wurden, sind noch immer die grundsätzlichen Probleme der endoskopischen Operation nicht vollständig gelöst [6]. Nähte, Ligaturen und schwierige Organpräparationen müssen mit starren Instrumenten, extrakorporalen Schiebeknotentechniken und teilweise wenig ergonomischen Handgriffen in einem nur zweidimensional dargestellten Operationsfeld durchgeführt werden.
