Abstract

I am very pleased to discuss a paper on banking written by philosophers. Although the interdisciplinary approach is often praised, it is rarely put into practice. This is an excellent occasion for interdisciplinary efforts in the area of banking.

This comment addresses a paper Koslowski and Löhnert which has been presented by Koslowski at the “Ethics in Financial Institutions Conference” in Madrid. The papers of Koslowski and Löhnert published in this volume are different ones, still most remarks in the comment apply equally.
