Zusammenfassung
Es vermehren sich die Hinweise auf eine Aktivierung des Gastringens in Zellen kolorektaler Karzinome. Die posttranslationale Proteinbildung ist aber unvollständig [1, 2]. Die Konzentration der vom Progastrin abstammenden Intermediärprodukte soll im malignen Gewebe höher sein als in der benignen Kolonmukosa [1]. In einer eigenen Untersuchung ließ sich in über 80% der untersuchten Kolonkarzinome die mRNA des Gastringens nachweisen [3]. Um die biologische Bedeutung der Aktivierung des Gastringens zu untersuchen, wurde die Kolonkarzinomzellinie LIM 1215 mit der cDNA des Gastringens in antisense Orientierung transfiziert.
