Zusammenfassung
Durch zunehmenden Ausbau der Kommunikationsinfrastruktur können Rechner und Netze mehr und mehr zur Unterstützung kooperativen Arbeitens verwendet werden. Der vorliegende Aufsatz beschreibt die Architektur einer Plattform, mit der auf der Basis eines verteilten gemeinsamen Arbeitsbereichs beliebige kooperative Anwendungen entwickelt werden können. Neben der Vorstellung der Architektur wird schwerpunktmäßig ein Mechanismus zur flexiblen Beschreibung und Realisierung verschiedener Replikationscharakteristiken für gemeinsam benutzte, hierarchisch strukturierte Objekte eingeführt. Ein Ansatz zur prototypischen Realisierung der Architektur bildet den Abschluß des Aufsatzes.
