Zusammenfassung
Im Zusammenhang mit der Phototherapie hat sich der Einsatz von Photosensibilisatoren als sinnvoll erwiesen. Therapeutisch eingesetzt werden derzeit speziell die Psoralene, Furocumarine. In Deutschland wird insbesondere 8-Methoxypsoralen (Abb. 27) eingesetzt, in den USA zudem 4,5′,8-Trimethylpsoralen oder Trioxsalen, in manchen europäischen Ländern zudem 5-Methoxypsoralen, Bergapten.
