Abstract
Secondary flows occurring in rotating machinery demonstrate potential instability and multiple flow modes regimes. A better understanding of the secondary flow structure can lead to improvement in the performance, reliability and cost of many existing rotating machines, as well as may serve to stimulate innovations.
