Abstract

Problems of quality assurance are of great importance not only to decisions about software products. Regardless of how strictly regulations such as product liability have actually to be considered, continuously increasing market risks make improved planning and development processes urgently necessary. Evaluation methods for decision making in the areas of product selection and quality assurance also aim at such improvements. Recently, fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logic have been used increasingly for advancing evaluation methods for selection-oriented decision-making, cf. [1], [3]. This should also be done in the case of quality assurance problems. The present paper contributes to this aspect.
