Zusammenfassung

Dank verbesserter Dialyseverfahren und optimalerer Vorbereitung sind potentielle Transplantatempfänger heute besser auf die Nierentransplantation vorbereitet. Wird ein Patient zur Transplantation eingewiesen, so müssen bei Eintritt zuerst dieselben Routineuntersuchungen durchgeführt werden wie bei jeder anderen Operation (Tabelle 19). Zusätzlich sollte die Zytomegalieserologie (IgG und IgM) bestimmt und der Crossmatch durchgeführt werden (9, 11).
